About

I am Yuechao Wang, a PhD student in Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

My research focuses on fluid mechanics, including turbulence, particle settling, and experimental flow measurements using PIV techniques. I am particularly interested in the interaction between flow structures and non-Newtonian fluid behavior.

I am currently working on:

• Faraday wave experiments in non-Newtonian fluids
• Turbulence modulation by polymers
